Capable of handling any slow cooker recipe, the manual SCCPVL600 Crock-Pot slow cooker will take care of mealtime while you enjoy your day. Manual settings include high, low and warm to best fit your cooking needs. Simply load the ingredients into your Crock-Pot slow cooker, turn it on, and come back to a beautiful, home-cooked dish.

    Clean Up is a Breeze:

Once you are through cooking with the SCCPVL600 slow cooker, be sure to unplug and allow it to cool before cleaning. The lid and stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. The outside of the heating base may be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. When not in use, the sleek design of this slow cooker will make a perfect addition to your countertop without taking up much space.

Having grown up with Crock-Pot meals, I was happy to get my own Crock-Pot SCCPVL600-S Cook & Carry 6-Quart Manual Slow Cooker, Silver by Crock-Pot.  I like this modern look to the crock-pot. I chose the silver, they also have red. The silver matches my other kitchen appliances and looks great sitting on my counter top, ready to use at any time. I like that it has a warm, low and high setting.  I made chili in my crock-pot and it was very good.  It cooks a lot faster than I remember a slow cooker taking to cook.  I like that the lid seals so it can be transported without leaking or spilling and that there is a steam release hole.  I really like that the stoneware insert can be used in the microwave and oven, not the lid, not the silver part, but the stoneware pot only.  I like the oval shape because it fits large roasts better than a round pot.  I like that the stoneware insert is removable and easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher along with the lid. The main housing wipes down nicely with a dish cloth. I like it to make party dishes to share at gatherings where it can travel with me and be plugged in when we get there to stay warm while serving. I think this would make a nice gift for busy households who still want a nice home cooked meal.
