Here is a little of what DigiPuppets has to say:

Research shows children engage more deeply when there are well-developed personalities and backstories. We studied the science behind great storytelling to create personable characters based on Jungian archetypes and engaging plotlines that explore the ambition and conflict of each character, interconnected by a master narrative. We tell these stories in our interactive story apps, then carry these storylines forward into our skill building games to keep kids interested over the long term.  Having a Pre-K and a 1st Grader in the house who love to learn and enjoy technology, I was excited to get a digipuppet.  I like that the finger puppet brings technology to their level and makes them feel comfortable about using electronic devices.  They love the apps and go from playing games, to reading along or reading their self.  I like that it is mobile playing and learning that they both enjoy.  I like that it is interactive and they don't realize that they are learning, they are just having fun and learning at the same time.
