I love the rain and I love gardening, so I was excited to get this Golden Canary Copper Rain Chain that looks like ship bells from Marrgon.    I have seen old farmhouses with rain chains over rain barrels so I wanted one for myself. I love this idea of the rainwater flowing down the rain chain slowed down and directed by the chain and the ship bells into a rain barrel or straight into the garden.  I tested it out with my daughter by pouring water from the top and watching it flow while she held the top of the rain chain over the porch rail.  It works great and I cannot wait until my son can attach it to my rain spout because it is so beautiful to see and magical to hear.  I cannot wait until the copper gets its patina and it starts to look old and like it has been there 100 years.  I am looking for a rain barrel to complete the look I want.  I love that it saves water as well as being decorative.  The added sight and sound is very nice.
