Muscle Honey Sports Gel™
Muscle Honey Sports Gel is intended to support athletes:
Improves muscle performance
Reduces the discomfort of competition
Improves waste clearance from muscles
Faster and better recovery
The gel is a water-decoction of numerous herbs, roots and berries that have been used for centuries by hunters, runners and laborers to achieve these results. While the use of these herbs is traditional and well supported, the combination of them all in one trans-dermal gel is unique to this century. Where once, the herbs and berries had to be rubbed on the arms and legs, now it can be conveniently absorbed through the skin in this water-based trans-dermal gel. Never before, have athletes had the power of all of these natural constituents combined into one easy-to-apply gel. This represents a new day in herbal sports enhancement.
Let's explore for a moment, the individual herbs that make up Muscle Honey and the benefits that they offer the athlete.
Improve Muscles Efficiency:
The first order of business is to improve the performance of the muscles. This can be done in several ways. Witch Hazel increases the muscle fiber lubricity so that the muscle body becomes more supple and moves more freely as if it had received the perfect warm-up. This allows more output with less waste and less damage. Less warm-up; More work-out. Additionally, Peppermint leaf improves the blood circulation within the muscles and Juniper berry helps to flush lactic acid (a by-product of muscular exertion).
Facilitate Greater Exertion:
White Willow Bark helps acts as an analgesic to relieve the discomfort from over-exertion that often limits the extent of athletic performance. Push Harder; Hurt less. Ginseng provides increased energy to allow higher levels of output and more endurance. Because not all athletes are young, the Devil's claw provides joint support to improve the lubricity of the synovial tissues within knees, ankles, elbows and hips.
Enhance Recovery and Repair:
After heavy exertion and competition, there will be muscle fiber damage, micro-tears in ligaments and tendons and bruising in muscle bodies. In order to facilitate the repair of these issues and minimize the recovery discomfort, Muscle Honey contains Comfrey which promotes fibroblast activity and hence tissue mending. The alantoin in Comfrey maintains the high levels of collagen production needed to repair the damaged tissues. Any athlete knows the value of Arnica Montana in the healing process. It contains enzymes that break-up micro-clots from damage and bruising. This allows the blood to more effectively deliver healing constituents through the micro-capillary bed. Sweet Marjoram relieves cramps that may form in muscles that were not able to clear the waste build-up as quickly as it was produced. Recover Faster; Compete again sooner.

I love that this Muscle Honey does not contain menthol so I can use it and still get dressed up and go out and not smell like menthol after using it. I really like that it is used before and after an athletic event to warm up muscles and tendons and help recover after the event. I prefer the natural herbal ingredients in muscle honey and I find it to be a step above the other muscle lubricants I have tried on the market.
