                      #CookWithBeer Boardwalk Food Company

a Rafflecopter giveaway

The foundation of Boardwalk Food Company’s products is our Beer Bread. “Beer” and “bread.” Put the two together and how could you not have fun? We include all the ingredients in each of the mixes. You just pop open a beer, pour, stir, bake, and enjoy! They’re delicious on their own or you can try them with different types of dip.

Even if you make it with beer, kids can enjoy it too – most of the alcohol is cooked off in the baking process.

Be prepared to “wow” your guests with home-baked bread, without the hassle of a complicated
time-consuming recipe. We guarantee this will be the best bread you’ve ever tasted!

Just add beer, mix and bake to make delicious Boardwalk Food Company beer bread. Entertaining not only got easier, but tastier and more fun!

Made in America, Boardwalk mixes are available in four flavors. Any 12oz beverage will work offering a multiple variety of scrumptious options. Part of the fun is deciding what lager, ale, pilsner or stout to use. With craft brews popularity, and microbreweries popping up in more and more places, the list of choices are endless.

Serve as a loaf of bread using a loaf pan, or use a mini muffin pan to create poppers, bite size balls of fun!

The company is inspired by vacations with family and friends on the Boardwalk of Atlantic City, which were frequent throughout Founder and President Andy Yochum’s life.

I came to realize that the Boardwalk was more than just a place; it was a state of mind,” says Yochum. “Our products make it possible to enjoy the carefree, simple, social aspects of vacation in your everyday life. They’re easy to make, and special enough to share with family and friends.”

Currently available in these four flavors: Original, Lemon Poppy Seed, Rosemary Sea Salt and Cornbread

Boardwalk Food Company beer bread mixes retail for $7.99 each.

Lemon Poppy Seed – This bread has a light refreshing lemony taste. It certainly speaks of the beach!

Original – Our original flavor is delicious on its own or can act as a canvas to change the flavor profile. Experiment with different types of beer or soda. Even add ingredients like fruits, flavoring or spices.

Rosemary Sea Salt – A hearty Italian-flavored bread, Rosemary Sea Salt is a perfect stand-alone appetizer or companion to steak or pasta.

Cornbread – Making a good batch of cornbread that’s just the right tasty combination of sweet and moist can be a lengthy process. We’ve simplified it: just add your favorite beer and bake. Perfect for chili night!

This is all you need for fresh baked bread!
(I used flavored seltzer water, they recommend beer)

Boardwalk Original Beer Bread Mix.

4 T of melted butter for the top of the hot loaf of bread.
I poured the mix into the bowl, added 12 ounces of my liquid, and mixed with my dough hook.

I love how it bubbles...reminds me of my Grandmas kitchen when she use to make  homemade beer bread.

Mixes very easy

Poured into the buttered loaf pan and baking for 50-55 minutes.

(too bad you cannot smell how good this boardwalk food company beer bread is smelling as it bakes in my oven)

50 minutes later the house is smelling like home made bread and this loaf is coming out of the oven

Removed from the loaf pan and topped with butter, left to cool, a little and then cut!

No one wanted to wait! Here is the first slice! So hot, buttery, crusty on the outside, tender on the inside!

I was excited to get to try Boardwalk Food Company Beer Bread Mix because my Gramma Lil use to make beer bread when I was a kid and I wanted to do the same with my Grand Daughters.  I love that this is a family company who really seems to care about their product.  I like that it is a simple bread yet it is very delicious and easy to make yourself.  I like that the company concentrates on just a few different breads and I cannot wait to try each of them! I started with the Original Beer Bread Mix.  I wanted to make the bread as soon as I got it in the mail but I did not have a bottle of beer so I put it off until I could get a nice bottle of beer to make it properly.  Time got away from me and I ended up using a flavored seltzer water. I wanted to be sure to use something that was going to fizz!  Next time I will bake it with beer!  What I like best about making this bread is that there is no rise time! That is the part I hate the most about baking bread. For some reason I don't want to wait until it rises, punch it back down and then let it rise again before baking! This mix is so easy and I love that! I also like that I can bake a loaf of bread or make muffins, large or small or even a 8 inch round. This time I made a loaf but I am looking forward to making other varieties.  I recommend this bread to anyone who loves a loaf of fresh baked bread but does not like the long process of baking it from scratch.  This in my opinion is even better than that, there is little room for error and it only takes a few minutes to mix up. Bake and enjoy!
