This is called rapid re-soiling. It happens because many products leave a sticky residue that attracts dirt to your carpet when they dry.

to prevent the chance of this occurring. When it dries, this carpet
spotter traps (encapsulates) the soiling in a polymer based non stick
microscopic powder that will vacuum easily out of the carpet or

EASY TO USE 4 STEP SYSTEM:
Directions:
Blot stain to remove any solid soil or residue.
Apply a moderate amount (sparingly on upholstery) to the affected area.
Gently agitate into carpet with a brush.
Do not scrub!
Blot stain with a clean white cloth to remove spot.
Repeat until majority of stain is removed.
Allow area to dry.
Vacuum to remove encapsulated residue.

I was excited to get to try the Carpet Spotter by Very Dirty Carpets.com. We have little ones running around all day, twin kittens and people coming in and out of the house all day long. I was shocked that the stains I treated came out as well as they did, because these were old stains that I had previously tried to remove with other cleaners. This spot & stain remover is amazing and I recommend it to anyone with high traffic carpets or household spills. It is very easy to use and quickly removes stains. I am so very pleased with the results, I am going to work on an area rug I was about to replace because I thought I would never get the stains out. After the initial stain removal, I decided to try to clean an area rug that was under the dining room table. It had ketchup. syrup, BBQ sauce and a little bit of every bit of food a little one spilled on the carpet in 3 years time. I had previously bought carpet cleaners and nothing really worked. I really had no hope but thought I would give it a try anyway. I could not believe my eyes, with very little work, the carpet is as clean as its ever been. No one in the house can believe how clean this carpet is now! I wish I had taken a before and after pic so that you could see just how horrible this area rug that was previous under the dining room table was. This product is amazing and I recommend it !
