I was happy to get this 1 Gallon Stainless Steel Compost Pail with 2 Free Odor Absorbing Filters Included by Estilo. I find this stainless steel compost pail a useful and handsome edition to my kitchen counter. I love the way it looks sitting next to my stainless steel breadbox. I like that it has a nice smooth interior and exterior.
It is easy to keep clean, both inside and out. I like that the pail is of heavy weight but not so much that it is difficult to carry out to the compost pile. The filter in the lid is very nice and serves its purpose well. I like that the lid fits precisely. I have been making good use of the compost pail.
I have been collecting produce peelings, eggshells, tea leaves and coffee grounds in the pail and find that it holds quite a lot. I like that I can fill the pail and still not smell a hint of the compost material. I think this would make a fine addition to any eco friendly kitchen. I recommend it!
