I was happy to get this Diabetic Cookbook for Two 125 Perfectly Portioned, Heart Healthy, Low-Carb Recipes. I am a Diabetic, my Son is on a heart healthy diet and my daughter is having her 3rd child, so this book is a great match for our family. Since there are 3 adults and 2 children in the house, I double the recipes to serve my family of 5. I like that there is a variety of recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lists are great! It really gives me a much better idea of the best food choices so even when I am not following the cookbook recipes, I am using the ingredients from the lists to keep me on track. I feel really good about this cookbook because it takes the guesswork out of grocery shopping and food preparation for me. It helps keep me accountable and gives me options and new recipes to try. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to prepare a diabetic, heart friendly, low carb meals.
