With a 3rd baby on the way, I was excited to get to try this Baby Ring Sling Carrier by Mamaway. I just love the idea of carrying a newborn like this. I think the bonding time is very important, even critical. I think that having a new baby in the house is such a wonderful experience and being able to have him close to me while I am doing housework and out and about doing errands and caring for the rest of the family is very important to me. Women have been carrying their babies like this for a very long time, it is just now that Americans have adopted this practice. I like that the babies weight is distributed to my back and not to my arms or shoulders. This enables me to carry him for a long time without any fatigue and enables me to enjoy my time with this sweet newborn baby boy. I like that it is long enough so that if we want some privacy from well wishers when we are out and about, I can just cover up and no one bothers us. I think everyone who gets a baby ring sling should watch the videos on their support page that shows 9 videos on how to use the ring sling and different ways to carry your baby with it. I think this would make a wonderful baby shower gift for anyone who is having a baby and a great addition if you could use one for yourself.
