GET GOURMET WITH YOUR GREENS:

With the Vremi salad spinner, meals become nutritious, creative, and, most importantly, totally delicious. From simple green salads to hearty chopped varieties and even the picnic staple, pasta salad, the salad spinner can make it happen. Throw some herbs and berries in the salad spinner along with spinach for an instant summer refresher. Drain cans of corn and beans in the the spinner to layer with guacamole and romaine for a taco salad.

 STREAMLINE SUPPERTIME:

Forego the hassle of chopping, slicing, and dicing all your vegetables separately. With the Vremi salad spinner, multi-ingredient dishes are a breeze. After spinning lettuce (or pasta, herbs, berries, beans, you name it!) swap the spinning lid with the grating lid and choose between 5 different blades to grate cheese, slice apples, or shred carrots directly into the bowl. With the included citrus juicer, you can even add freshly squeezed lemon

CLEAN WITH EASE:

Talk about time saving. Not only can you prep quicker; clean-up will take mere minutes with the Vremi salad spinner. Every piece of the spinner is dishwasher safe. With no cutting boards, graters, slicers, or knives to worry about, all you need to do is pop your bowl and blades in the dishwasher and enjoy the rest of your evening.

 CRAFT THE PERFECT SALAD:

Very thoroughly drying salad leaves is necessary in order for the dressing to stick, leading to more taste in each bite. Use varied textures, and try to include something from the savory vegetable category, the crunch category (nuts, seeds, or croutons), and a dressing (a vinaigrette for leafy greens, and a thicker dressing for more cruciferous lettuce). You should aim to have a flavor balance between salty, sweet, acidic, and bitter, and can optionally add in various proteins or fruits to achieve the right taste. For example, a salad with kale, apples, sunflower seeds, and an apple cider dressing would be well-balanced.

 TAKE IT TO GO:

How trendy are mason jars right now? But beyond being adorable, they are ultra convenient. Make a delicious, hearty to-go lunch with a mason jar salad. There is a certain way to pack it, however, to ensure none of the ingredients are crushed or turn soggy. Start by pouring salad dressing on the bottom of the jar, and layer hard, raw veggies on top of that, followed by any beans or starchy carbs. If you're adding cheese, cooked vegetables, or fruit, you can throw those in next. Then add the lightest toppings last.

Since I spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping and preparing meals several times a day, I was happy to get this Salad Spinner.  This is no ordinary salad spinner that just spins the water out of your fresh greens before making a salad.  This is more like a salad maker from beginning to service.

I love that after spinning the water out of the fresh greens, I can replace the top with the grating lid.  I like that I can use the 5 different attachments to slice, dice and grate my veggies and fruits into my salad bowl.  I really love that I can do each step of the salad in this one bowl.  There is even a citrus juicer so I can add orange, grapefruit or lemon right into the salad.

This is very convenient because when I am done, I can throw each piece of the salad spinner in the dishwasher.  I like that I can even use it to drain my pasta, beans or fresh berries. I think this is a nice tool to add to anyone's kitchen and would make a nice gift.
