• Where should the Easi-Vent valve be when feeding my baby?

  We recommend the valve be at the top, near your baby's nose.
  

• Can I put bottles and nipples in the dishwasher?

  Yes, our bottles and nipples are dishwasher safe. We advise you place bottles and nipples on the top shelf. Also, try not to put baby bottles and nipples in the dishwasher with dark colored food as the color from this food can transfer. We also advise that you sterilize the bottles and nipples in a Closer to Nature sterilizer.
  

• Can I use the microwave to heat up the bottle?

  We strongly recommend that you do not heat milk in a microwave as this produces localized hot spots. You should also never boil breast milk as this destroys valuable nutrients in the milk. Try using our Electric Bottle and Food Warmer or our Travel Bottle and Food Warmer instead. More detailed information about heating breast milk can also be found in our advice section.
  

• Can I store milk in the bottles?

  You can certainly store breast milk in your Closer to Nature bottle. We recommend storing the milk in the main section of your fridge (not in the fridge door as temperatures can vary) or your freezer. In both cases, be sure to use a sterilized air tight container (you will also need to use Milk Storage Lids). Having a new baby in the house, I was happy to get to try Tommee Tippee Orthodontic Pacifiers and Bottles. I really like the shape of these bottles.  They work very well and I like that they are BPA free.  They are easy to clean by hand and I like that they can also be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher.  The nipple on these bottles is different from others I have seen and tried before and I like that the baby latches on right away and seems to be very comfortable with it.  I like the gender neutral orthodontic pacifiers.  It is so nice that they come in a pack of two, since one always seems to go missing.  I like that this pacifier is made a lot like the bottle nipple and it seems a lot of thought went into the design. I like that baby is happy with it and calms quickly when using it. I think the Tommee Tippee gift sets are the perfect gift for new parents and make a thoughtful baby shower gift that needs no wrapping paper since it comes in a beautiful gift box.  I also think the gift set would make a nice holiday gift, I recommend it.
