Silicone Molds for making LEGO bricks & figures

I tried a few different way of using these silicone molds for making LEGO bricks and Figures.

(geletin colored with food coloring)

Instead of buying 5 different boxes of geletin, I used a light pink geletin and added food coloring to make 5 different colors.

I also made 4 different colors of water to make ice figures.

Our little girls had a lot of fun with the colorful jellies and the ice bricks and figures.

Having little ones who like to get crafty in the kitchen, I was happy to get to try these Silicone Molds for making LEGO bricks and figures.  I have to say through trial and error, I learned that they worked  best for me after I used a cooking spray before filling them with geletin or anything else besides water.  Someone else may have better luck without it but I am just saying what worked best for me.  I think the ice figures and bricks were the easiest and I think with some bright colored fruit punch they would really tasty as well as cute to look at. Our kitchen was pretty hot that day and they melted pretty fast.  All in all I think this is a fun idea and a great gift for LEGO lovers.
