I was excited to read DIY Canning.  I have to admit I was a bit intimidated by the thought of DIY Canning but after I read this ebook. I have the confidence that I can do this myself.  I like that this book gives a nice step by step directive and lists of supplies needed to begin.  I really like that I can start with the practice recipes before I go on to the next step. I love the idea of knowing exactly what is in the foods I will be serving my friends and family, from seed to harvest to the jar.  I had no idea until now what foods can be canned to use throughout the year. Nothing will go to waste from my garden harvest. I think this is a great book for anyone who wants to start canning.
