           Here Are Mine!

Having a family that loves root beer, I was excited to get to try a sampling of The Root Beer Stores Variety 6-Pack Root Beer of the Month. Over the course of a few weeks my family and I tried 1 root beer at a time.  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed each of the 6 different root beers we tried.

I thought all root beer was the same, but I learned from this taste testing that it is not all the same and actually pretty different from each other.  Some had a very rich root beer taste and some had other hints of flavors, some were sweeter and some were lighter tasting.

 

 It was a lot of fun to split the bottle of root beer between 4 glasses and we all talked about the flavors we tasted and how it was different from the other in one way or the other.  I liked how each time we tasted a new bottle, we all were enjoying each sip and the room was filled with mmmm and ahhh and yumms!  

 

Root beer floats were something the little girls really enjoyed and I did as well, it sent me right back to childhood, riding my bike with my friends to the local root beer stand each summer and enjoying an ice cream root beer float.  I like that this was no ordinary root beer.  Each was very delicious and had its own style and flavors. 

After a few weeks of taste testing each root beer, our little girls chose HIPPO SIZE as their favorite.  I chose MOOSE WIZZ as my favorite. My daughter chose FROSTIE VANILLA ROOT BEER as her favorite and my son chose RIVER CITY ROOT BEER as his favorite. 

I like that we all had our favorite for one reason or another, yet we enjoyed each bottle.  I think this would make a great gift for any occasion.  It was a lot more fun that I imagined it could be.  It got the family together, conversations started about childhood memories and laughter ensued.  I love that each bottle was unique and made with great craftsmanship.  I recommend joining the root beer of the month club!
