 Directions

 
Connect the appliance to a standard electrical outlet (100-240V) and slide the power button from OFF to ON to activate the temperature. Express heat up time: within only 2 minutes, the appliance is ready for use. Your hair must be untangled, clean and dry (in order not to get damaged). Put your hair curler on a flat surface. Plug-in the appliance and switch it on. Wait for 2 minutes until the appliance reaches the right temperature. Section dry hair evenly, and comb each section. Use the clamping arm, to hold the hair in place. Gently slide curling iron down to hair ends. Wind the hair up as far as you want it curled, being careful not to let the iron touch the scalp. Hold in place for 8-10 seconds, depending on the texture and length of your hair. For smaller curls use a small size barrel. For bigger, free flowing curls, use a bigger barrel. To replace the barrels turn the lock mechanism on the handle and pull out the barrel. Remember to lock back the handle after placing the desired barrel. To remove the curling iron, press the clamping arm to release and unwind the hair. To set the curls, do not comb or brush hair until it cools. Note: We recommend you set the remainder of the hair away for easy styling. Please unplug the device after use. Leave it to cool for a few minutes before putting it away. This appliance is intended for household use. This appliance has dual voltage and operates at 100-240 volts AC. It will automatically adjust to the proper voltage. Use an adapter plug (not included) with correct configuration, prior to use in outlet. Safety auto off: For safety reasons, the appliance automatically switches off after approximately 60 minutes of no use. 

Being a former Cosmetologist for 15+ years, I was excited to get to try this Professional 5-in-1 Curling Iron by Xtava.  First of all, I love that I can literally take 5 curling wands/irons with me in the thermal styling bag, without having all those cords and handles taking up all the space in my luggage. 

 

I like to make different size curls when I am styling hair and this hair curler makes it convenient for me to create the styles I want in no time.  I especially like the 2 different size curling wands when I am in a hurry and don't have much time.  I really like that it heats up in about 2 minutes and shuts itself off after an hour if I accidentally forget to turn it off. 

 

 I think this is a great 5-in-1 with a nice range of different shape and sized barrels to make a variety of curls.  I love that the cord is 8 feet long so I can freely move around when I am styling someone elses hair.  I think this would make a great gift for anyone who loves to play with different hair styles. I recommend it.
