I was very happy to get this to try this 16 piece magnetic building blocks kit by WEDGNETIX.  We have the 16 piece set that is not magnetized and our girls still enjoy playing with them.  They were super excited when they seen these new bright magnetized  building blocks.  

Right away they both started looking through the book to see which picture they would recreate.  They really love that they are magnetized and so colorful.  I can almost see their little minds working while turning the blocks at 45, 90 and 180 degrees as they build.  

 

 I like that the magnets are very strong and stay where they are placed so their is no frustration with it falling apart.  I think this is a wonderful learning tool that makes kids think while they are having fun, creating, building and using their imaginations.  I think this would make a great gift for both boys and girls.
